At its core, the strategy consisted of 3 ideas. If Apple could execute on these ideas intensely, they knew they would be very successful.. i believe that these ideas could be used for any product in from any category.
Empathy: understand the customer better than any other company
Focus: in order to do a good job with those things that we decide to do, we must ELIMINATE all of the unimportant opportunities
Impute: people DO judge a book by its cover. If a product is presented in a sloppy manner, it will be perceived as sloppy. If we present a product in a creative, professional manner, we will impute the desired qualities
